my story

I became a therapist because, well... I’ve been through some sh*t.

Mental health struggles? Check.

Childhood chaos? Yep.

Addiction? Been there.

But what happened to me isn’t who I am.
It isn’t who you are either.

  • HOW I WORK

Well, now I know how to really show up for people—not with a notebook, blank stare, and a bunch of boring old head nodding, but with honesty, empathy, and the kind of perspective that can only come from doing the work yourself.

I love helping people untangle the mess that trauma makes and clear the noise that anxiety amplifies—so you can finally hear, trust, and become who you were meant to be.

  • MY STYLE

My style is curious, compassionate, and built on truth-telling.

I’m licensed to practice therapy in the state of Pennsylvania (since 2014!). I’m informed by psychodynamic therapy, somatic work, and Internal Family Systems (IFS), which is just some fancy language for saying I help you explore both your inner world and how it shows up in your body. Together, we’ll get to know the parts of you that protect, please, shut down, or lash out—the parts that formed to keep you safe, even if they’re no longer serving you.

  • WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

I show up as a real person in the room.

I’ll sit with you in the hard stuff, but I’ll also bring humor, warmth, and the belief that healing doesn’t have to be heavy all the time.

Your pace is my pace, so expect us to move gently and honestly, working side by side to help you find more clarity, compassion, and agency in your life.

My specialties

I work with high-functioning people seeking real change. You’ve done the coping, now you’re ready to heal for real. Let’s get to the root.

How I work

Let’s be real.
We need to vibe.

Therapy works best when there’s a real connection—when you feel seen, safe, and like you can actually be yourself (expletives and all). If the energy’s off, it’s hard to get anywhere. But when it’s right? That’s where the good stuff happens. Healing, breakthroughs, even laughter (yes, that’s allowed here, too!).

I offer a free consultation for us to get a sense of how I show up in therapy. You can book that here when you’re ready!

  • You may want to work me if:

    • You’ve named your trauma and want to understand how it shaped you.

    • You’re ready to be real, even when it’s messy or uncomfortable.

    • You want to explore the root of patterns, not just throw on a band-aid.

  • You may not want to work me if:

    • You’re looking for quick fixes or surface-level advice.

    • You’re not ready to get curious about what’s underneath the coping.

    • You want a therapist who stays neutral and never gets real with you.

My Training, Licensing, and Certifications:

You deserve to feel better.
